Hey all,

I recently upgraded our BES from 4.0 - 4.1.6 and somewhere along the way a number of users lost their ability to browse the web. They are getting HTTP Error 503. Does any one know what this means?

I've got a similiar problem. After Upgrading to 4.1.6 all of my users cannot browse the internet anymore. But surfing in the intranet still works!
I took a look on our firewall and discovered that the http requests which will be transferred between the BES and the Firewall don't contain anymore the URL like google.de only the IP i.e. 74.125.39.105. Thus most of the server in the internet cannot understand the http request an the users get error messages like authentication required or http 404 - page not found.
But I don't know what went wrong with the URL-translation respectively how I can fix the behaviour.

I'm guessing there are compatability issues with the servicebooks. Make sure u clear all the users books, and then push them back to them
