So I have an old 7100 with a lot of ringtones that I can't find anywhere. I never really bothered with them when I moved to the 8700, now that I have my 8800 coming in I want to set it up with some of the ringtones from the 7100. Does anyone know of any way to move/copy them to the 8800?

Ringtones are saved in "content store." If you backup the old device then restore just the "content store" to the new device you should get the ringtones. You will lose whatever you've saved on the new device already, though.

You could probably just use dm to move the files from your old phone on your pc and then use dm again to move em from your pc to your new phone lol

I got my 8800, backup/restored the content store. According to the DM the files are there, but when I try to select them on the device, nothing is there. Any hints?
