It generates my bb pin but when I add friends with their bbm pin it says 'pending'

Need more information. If this is a 3rd arty app, maybe you should call the developer. The app may not be compatible with your device and/or OS.

I just checked my applications tab in bb and pmessenger is there as a 3rd party app

I don't really know who da developer is if yu could help would be really kind of yu

It doesn't connect to BBM. You can't use a BBM pin unless your friends also load pmessenger on their BB.
