Does anyone know if any of the messenger programs that supports ICQ and is able to run in the background of your Blackberry and just alert you to incoming msgs?
I just d/l IM+ by shape but that requires you to have the app open the whole time and unable to navigate away while I'm not using it....however I still want to remain online the whole time...
As I think about it Verichat runs in the background also....but to me i find that Causerie is a lil more lightweight on the blackberry...my unit is more sluggish when running Verichat....

Causerie has a unique feature which allows you to see all messages that you received while you are in background mode, this feature is very important because I missed many messages due to my carrier problems as I never recived SMS. But this feature will help us to see that messages.
In the nearest days we're going to release version which will support
notification about incoming messages alerts. They will be work also in
the background mode.
