Default Citrix capability? Remote Desktop? VPN (Checkpoint)?

Please Login to Remove!

Just wondering if you can connect to Citrix or Remote Desktop using a blackberry... and will you authenticate thru the BES, or will I need a VPN client to connect to our Checkpoint? And additionally... are these apps any good? I mean, with the limited screen real estate... and over a wireless connection... I am just curious.

Thanks for any info! I found the remote administration tool and that looks great, but I just want to see what other options there are.

You might want to check out Idokorro's products http://www.idokorro.com . Having full Citrix or Remote Desktop on a BlackBerry is not possible yet because of various issues (network speed, processor, limited input), but our products like Mobile Admin are able to acheive a lot of the same things but much faster and easier to use.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry7100/4.0.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1)

You can run a full remote desktop with vnc. Its slow and cumbersome, but it does work. I use it with my Mac at home quite often.
