Hi, I have a blackberry Bold 9100.
I have already changed the settings for the speed of the keypad. I have slowed it down as much as I could:

Trackpad with horizontal and vertical sensitivity = 20
Key Rate = Slow

but, still, when I hold down the menu button (just for a sec!!), instead of popping up the menu, it goes straight into the selection of the item "spell check". This behaviour is annoying.

Is there any workaround? Am I missing something?

The speed may be determined by the OS level and settings available.
The latest OS for the Pearl you have is 6.0 based on RIM's support site.
It might help upgrading the OS but if this does not help you might even consider upgrading to a newer model.
