Question hiding icons

Please Login to Remove!

Is there way to hide icons from the main screen even beyond selecting them and selecting Hide?

We have users who keep finding some of the icons we hide by selecting Show All. We don't want those shown even when Show All is selected. I've looked on the phones but is there a way to delete the icon file or something?

what are you trying to hide?
some applications can be deleted altogether, but it depends on what those are.

We don't want them deleted, like the email settings icon to setup BIS email, etc. Some users we don't mind that they setup their yahoo or gmail. others are using it to get their corporate email, which we have a BES. We then field a ticket to help desk about double emails, etc. That's just an example but for some users we want it to be really simple and to completely hide the other icons to where they aren't shown when you select Show all. I've looked and looked, can't seem to find a way to do it.

Sounds like you should assign IT policies based on whether the user is in the "trouble user" group or the "power user" group...
