Anyone else have dust under their screen? I assume it's always inevitable since I keep my phone in my pocket

I dont have dust under my screen. But, I always use a belt case to protect it.
You could move to an Otterbox case, but that makes it a little more bulky in your pocket.
I think if you would buy the sleeve and then put it in your pocket, you may find it protects it from more dust under the screen.

Murphy5111,

I am curious. Take your battery out and see if your Storm was made in Mexico. There was a rumor this was characteristic of Mexican made Storms.

If you have a friend or family member with an air compressor you can remedy this situation with some tactical use of the blower nozzle. Canned air doesn't really have the muscle to get it done right.

Yes my first and second storm twos were both made in mexico. I used to have same problem with my curve. I will probably wait until it gets really bad in the sunlight and then take it apart. I think I made it worse by using canned air to clean around the edges of the screen. That's when I first noticed it

I noticed this happening with my curve over a little time as I too keep mine in my pocked without a sleeve. Once it started bothering me I just took it to a verizon store with service tech and they cleaned it for me. Problem solved. If my storm 2 does it, I'll do the same thing. That way its on them if something happens to it.

Yes unfortunately. It seems less than my curve but its a little early to tell. I think it will be less since there's no trackball opening to let dust in
