Exclamation HTTP Browsing

Please Login to Remove!

I am having some problems with my BES, all users are unble to browse HTTP web pages, they all received a message that says error 400.

I have two demos installed and the only difference is that in the one were I'm unable to browse, I'm using a two servers configuration one in the DMZ with the router service and the other one in the LAN.

Is there anything that should be configured in order to be able to browse from the handheld?

Regards,

Pablo

your internet web browsing should be working provided the service is activated , if not will have to check with your provider .

The service is activated, that's what the provider says. Is there anything I should configure in the server in order to be able to browse the Internet, in the other server that I have working, I didn't configure anything, and everybody is able to browse.

Check if you can connect from your DMZ to your proxy server.

Open your BlackBerry Manager
Click right on your BES
Select Mobile Data Service Properties
Got to the proxy tab
Add your proxy information

make sure that MDS Service is running and configured to run automatically if not using a proxy. I ran into this problem a month ago and it took a SP3HF2 to address this issue....for Domino.

I don't have any help to provide, only to say that we are in the same boat.

The BES is in the DMZ, there is *no proxy server*, MDS is running, and I can browse the web using IE on the BES server.

The Blackberry Browser *will* open web sites running on web servers inside the DMZ, but will not open any sites outside the DMZ - all return error 400.

It all doesn't make sense to me - if I can open those sites with IE on the BES server (again, nothing in the Proxy fields in IE), then I would think MDS ought to be able to open those sites too.

The Internet Browser works on the devices, but not the Blackberry Browser.
