Is there a way to make it not add an entry in my message list every time I get a voicemail? When I miss a call I have to listen to the voicemail and then view the stupid notification that I got a voicemail, as if I didn't already know.

I searched for this as I think I remember seeing it once before but I couldn't find it.

What are your call logging options set to?

From the homescreen press the call button, menu key, Options, Call Logging.

set it to none and it'll go away.

BUT - you will always get the little "you have a new voicemail" or whatever it says pop-up. I don't think any one has found a way to get rid of that yet. Or have they?

It's already set to none. I don't get a message for a missed call, just for a new voicemail. So when I miss a call and receive a voicemail, I get three icons at the top of my screen. One for missed call, one for voicemail, and one for a new text message. I just want to get rid of the text message one. Is that what you say nobody has been able to get rid of yet?

Its weird that you get the text message even when you set it to none. The other icons are for missed call and voicemail are normal though.

I think mizditz was referring to the pop up screen that tells you have a new voicemail (that's in addition to the VM icon).

Have you tried a battery pull?
