Lol!

They're random actually lol.
Every time I go into my emails it goes into "searching for network" Sometimes it will actually drop service, sometimes it just pretends it does... (yes, happens everywhere)
Annnnd the keypad every so often will miss every other keystroke when I type a message. It does it more often the more I use it... so I'm wondering if that's just not a "you text too much dannngit" issue.

I've called them before and they say "sounds like a software issue"
I had a sim card issue for a while, seems to be fixed now (would shut off the radio every half hour)

Oh, there's some scratches too ;) I joke I joke

-edit-
And just to make sure.. this os IS safe for my phone right?
Lol I read a bit and it seemed one (maybe 2) people had a sim card issue, but other than that... I'm safe as long as I remember to delete the vendor.xml... righhht? :P

I haven't seen the "searching for network" issue when switching screens in quite a while. That must be fixed. Missing every other keystroke could be the device slowing down due to low memory.

Yes, it's safe for your phone.

I sure hope its not a memory issue!! (36.8MB free right now.. Oh, and only 10 sms messages in my little box)
I guess I will continue on with my upgrading then!

Who knows, maybe my blackberry is really hungry and wants to take all of the memory...
It's being ok right now, but then again I've had it off since basically my birthday. I'll watch over it the next couple days/weeks and see what happens I guess!

-edit-
Man, I forgot how long that hourglass sits there after an update!!

Wirelessly posted (8310; The Juggernaut)

Don't worry about the additional icon. Just hide it.

I ended up going into my service books and deleting it... I know I know, it'll probably just come back. lol

The only other MAJOR issue is now it seems my media card is toast.
I put it in and reformatted it on 4.5.... and now every time I go into my media it sends my phone into that fun reboot over and over stage.
Any idea's on THAT one?

I do know when I first put in my media card, it said something about my media card having errors. Not errors, I can't remember the word it used now, but errors works. After I reformatted though, this little prompt never showed up again

*goes and reads the previous 9 pages for ideas*

-edit-
Wait! I found JCs other thread about this!
I remember my computer saying my card had hidden files on it! Maybe they were those .dat files? *goes and checks*

Use the Backup/Restore Advanced feature to clear the "Camera Options" database (it'll be in the right-hand pane.) Then try the backup again.

And you cleared the database for camera options? Did you pull the battery and reboot afterward?
