Some additions:

a videophone mode with the second display and a rotatable main display for a cameraphone mode.

Thumbs down

Sorry I dont see the relevance of this, this is not from the looks of it anything related to BlackBerry. It looks like a big ol' scientific calculator and it does not look like it will be easy to type with.

It looks like a computer keyboard for easy selection of letters by the index and middle fingers of one hand - like in an organizer.

Not a bad peer, is it?

But without a poor QWERTY keyboard implementation. BTW, I started my project at Sony Ericsson Developer World forum three months ago just concerning SE P910.

Mihail

And I really like Sony Clie's display. It's a dream.

Finally, I've found the proper form factor (101x55 mm) and now the ring finger also has its own domain for typing as to my initial plan. The system of typing is as following:

The "A-F" keys and Space key are intended for the index finger, "G-T" keys for the middle finger and "U-Z" keys for the ring one.

Mihail

There are lots and lots of reasons why QWERTY is a poor keyboard layout, even for regular PC usage, however, it is used, and it is familar and that is why we love QWERTY :D

Me too :0) And just because it fits for all ten fingers perfectly.

ABC Keypad is an one-handed keyboard. For another example, you could go to the Delta II Keypad project: http://www.chicagologic.com/

I have started a new project on the base of the ABC Keypad matrix - QWERTY Mobile Keypad.
