Welcome to the forums.

You cannot bypass the IT Policy. There is no way around it.

And attempting to do so may result in your quest for a new job.....

welcome to the forums. Juwaack is correct, the IT policy is there because your employer doesnt want you installing things on their device. If you want this changed your course of action would be talking to the IT admin

No chill required. There are a LOT of people who come here asking how to circumvent their employers IT Policy. And then get ticked off when they find out they can't.

If it's no big deal to you, that's great.

NO, see people like you make it a real waste to come on these forums for helpl. I am a stay at home mom, with a complicated phone and I have questions and I thought I could come to these forums for help. I don't need to try to circumvent anyone, believe! It just people like you who tick me off, all I was doing was trying to find some help with my phone.

Back that truck up, please.

You asked a question and I provided an answer. I do not know your situation or if you work for a company and like to try to get around the rules.

Remember this is the internet and your 'voice' cannot be heard by your written word.

You attitude is not very becoming. Your question has been answered.

If you got a "new" BlackBerry from T-Mobile with an IT Policy on it, you should immediately return it for one without an IT Policy on it.

Here's another opinion - lose the attitude.

You came here for help. You were given help. You are welcome.

Why yes, I do. Since you can count on me not helping you anymore until you lose the attitude.

Good luck.

It really is not an opinion you were given, it was a fact that was stated to you.

And if you really want to find out how to remove an IT policy from your BB, there are hundreds of threads on this forum pointing out the process.

Hmm. Little hostility. I do remember a way at one point and time to bypass an IT policy. Or at least it was discussed. However, it is something that I do not recommend for several reasons.

1. Your IT department will likely find out
2. If they do, you're more than likely in hot water
3. IT policies have been put in place to provide security for you and your company.

Good luck,

The Gecko

I have the opposite problem, I can load any programs, but when I tried to delete them I am getting the "IT Policy Application Control" error.
Is there any other way to delete applications, or by pass the IT Policy Control?

doesnt Tmobile only offer the 8320 curve? if so, how did you get the 8300 from them new? as others have said, you are burning bridges with that attitude. if you are civil, you will get help, other than that you are wasting your time here and everyone else's by being rude.
