I suspect that this depends on what mods and programs people have on their Pearls.

If any T-Mo account holder REALLY, REALLY wants their 103 back, after having deleted it, PM me, I might be able to provide a link to my server, for a limited time and only to a few members as I don't want to exceed my bandwidth limit.

Version .103 works on my Blackberry Pearl okay so far. I have ColorPearl, Google Maps, and SoftReset installed. I uninstalled Blackberry Maps, all the languages but English UK, Password Keeper, and the sample video.

This update works better on my Pearl than any other before it. It's a lot snappier and it actually fixed some problems that I was have previously. I'm glad I got it before the pull.

T-Mobile US is the only carrier to pull the 4.2.1.x download offline because it has problems, it's RIM's fault not T-Mobile. If anything T-Mobile sucks *less* because it took action about something everyone has been ignoring.

If you still think T-Mobile USA sucks, take it to Rants & Raves.

Rivvie is correct. It's not TMo. It's RIM.

PS...BTW, It's most likely a violation of TMo's (and RIM's probably too) Terms and Agreements to host the OS for public download.

works fine for me... though i'm one of the "idiots" that doesn't use my pearl with web service. it's just a calendar and phone and music player for me.

i've not made a lot of calls since upgrading, but the upgrade went fine and i've not dropped any of the calls i've made so far, nor have i noticed any other issues. will update if i come across anything.

I haven't had one problem with it since I've installed. Actually I think it's worked better than the prior version.

I had problems and am currently going back to 1.96 and actually stumbled onto this thread after already downgrading. bbmaps and other apps were running terrible for me and calls were doing very weird things. Also the volume on my phone was low.

Hmm. I have noticed some wierd things, e.g. incoming calls not showing up when I am talking on the phone. Other than that everything seems ok.

Just recently I have noticed when I go into my messages it says 'searching for network' even though my bars are high and its on EDGE in the corner.

When I exit out of messages it goes back to 'T-Mobile'. Wow, what is with all the little bugs with this release.

Its been doing that since the .66 TIM release.

But regardless of release, the phone still lags when accessing any media. I deleted all 3rd party apps, and wiped the device before loading .103. It takes a good 2 minutes to load a picture from my media card or start a song.

I thought maybe my phone didn't have any memory, but all my media is on my memory card.
