It isn't even a cingular version. Looks like a photoshop'd T-mobile to me.

It did say at the bottom of the paragraph:

Image is not the actual red Pearl—just a mockup. Thanks, Mr. Bits –Travis Hudson

Up until today I was for the red technology devices. Until I discovered that they spent five times more money on advertising than they have actually generated in money for the AIDS charity. Five times. They should have just donated the money directly - but then, the companies that promoted all of this wouldn't have been able to make so much PROFIT from all of the red merchandise.

Advertising Age - Costly Red Campaign Reaps Meager $18 Million

Wise up. Don't waste your money. Donate directly to a charity organization like the Red Cross.

I think the only thing that will stop that is the price of the plans, my bill is $100 plus every month. When I had my sidekick it was only like $65.

pssh in what world do you live in? Actually in what continent? I pay 60+tax and thats for Tmobile. Unless you're on roaming in a different country with the internet plan you shouldnt be paying more than 80.

I just saw the image on Gizmodo. I'm planning on switching one of the Pearls I have on my family account to the red one.

Crud, is that red. I hope it's true that the actual shade of red used will be a lot easier on the eyes than that. I wouldn't have minded a red Pearl--just not one that would look like THAT... x_x
