Default Remove from BES without Wiping

Please Login to Remove!

Hello all:
I have a small problem. We are currently migrating our hosted exchange email domains. The exhange company says that we have to wipe the device before we can add it to the new BES. However it causes a problem for me. Because that would require my users to loose pictures and ringtones and so on and so on. So what is the best way to overcome this?

Backup device and delete all DESKTOP service books and try to activate it.

If that does not work then backup, wip, restore data needed.

Uh Oh! I ran the backup on the phones. And I am doing a selective restore. However, this did not restore pictures! Does the backup actually backup pictures?

You can activate it on the new BES if you do a Wired Activation. This will allow the IT Policy to be overwritten.

Otherwise, just wipe the thing.
