Hi, I woke up this morning to my blackberry with a blank white screen. I took out the battery and turned attempted to turn it back on but it wouldn't work... I tried over and over and eventually got it to work only to get the white screen when I received a text. Continued to go through this cycle of getting it to start up then later getting the white screen. Well eventually I could not even turn on the phone... I took the battery and sim out, charged it for 3 hours while I was at lacrosse practice.
The only lights I get are when I put the battery in (redlight) when I was charging it (flashing yellow) and when it was charged (green). Should I just keep taking out the battery and sim card? I cannot reload OS since I have a mac. Please help.
Edit: Got the phone to turn on and work again, but the blank white screen came up again.

Is there an error code on the screen?

What were you doing right before this happened?

Did you drop the device or get it wet recently?

I just woke up to the white screen with my phone next to me... no it hasn't gotten wet recently. I have dropped it numerous times but not recently.

Wirelessly posted (8700g 2007-04-07)

Back up your data if you can. Use jlcommander to wipe it clean use the apploader in you computer. Not sure where it is on a mac but find it load from there. Then reinstall your last good back up.
