Let me try and rephrase: You are saying that if a calendar reminder triggers at the same time you are editing or creating a new calendar entry, the blackberry locks up?

I haven't observed that, ever, but I don't recall a specific instance when a reminder happened to occur at the same time I had a calendar edit screen open.

Is that the only time you experience a lock up?

Default better discription

I have events in my calendar like bills due or a running weekly agenda, doctor's appointments and the like. Say a bill reminder pops up to let me know it's due in 2 days i open and my change the reminder to 1 day as i am working with it the weekly agenda reminder pops up. At this point i cannot open the agenda or dismiss it. It basically locks the bb up. I cannot change programs can't do anything but a battery pull. Like i said this use to happen on my 8700. I a have multi email addresses and in most cases just use the default in the calendar. Weird uh?

Here is a thought. I'm just speculating ...

Next time it happens, press alt-back/esc - or whatver you do on your model - to bring up the ribbon. If you can scroll through the ribbon, see if you can switch to one or the other, either the prompt or the calendar edit screen. Say you can switch to prompt and snooze it, then do that.

Just a thought. I don't know if it will work. But since you saw this issue on the 8700, too, I think the solution is going to be something like that.

No, I get this SAME problem. Blackberry Pearl 8120. I can't dismiss the reminder. I can bring up the ribbon and it changes the app in the background, but I can't interract with it. no way to dismiss the reminder and I have to pull the battery. Noone else have this or found a solution?

Thanks I hate it when things like this happen (and it is still happening)and nobody else seems to have the same problem. I feel like I am crying wolf!
