yes, i turned it back on. i didnt know what to do. it wasnt working well- it seemed as if the keys weren't aligned... a few days later... the keys seem to be working better, only problem is the trackball. when i go to my inbox and try to view a message it will go to "place call" instead of selecting the message. any suggestions?

if it uses electricity, dont turn it on when it is wet.

you might try this, but it may be too late. >> Got Your BlackBerry Wet? - BlackBerryFAQ

Sounds like it's still damp inside. Put it in a tupperware container full of uncooked white rice for a few days, batter out. Then give it another try. That's your best shot, and if it doesn't work you'll have to replace it.

The white rice, when uncooked is very dry inside and will eat up moisture away from anything.

The white rice trick does work.

My wife dropped her Bold 9000 is water (fully submerged).. Stuck in rice for a few days, and now fully operational for the past few months.

If the battery is pulled quick enough, most times it will work. Unfortunatly some people leave it in or think the rice is a joke people are suggesting.

Glad it worked for you.
