i got a new blackberry pearl but my old one has all contact lists save to the old phone and not the sim card. How do i save info to the sim card so i can place that card into the newer phone?

Instead of doing that, why not do a backup of the old blackberry, and then restore "Only the address book" to the new blackberry.

Or sync to outlook and then sync back.

You don't. SIM phonebook support is there for people migrating from a "regular" phone to the BB. Once on the BB you need to sync/backup with a PC.

The SIM phonebook only hold 1 name and 1 number per entry. Anything else (email address, other phone numbers, mailing addresses, etc etc) won't be copied to the SIM phonebook.

Sounds like you're not currently syncing/backing up. Make sure that you do. Mobile devices are easily lost/stolen/broken/etc.

You have to copy them to the SIM card one-by-one. Fun, huh?
And like takeshi says, only one number and one email address per SIM contact. All other info gets stripped off the contact when saved to the SIM.
