Perhaps some people just value their belongings and like to take good care of the things they work hard to pay for?

Hey now, chill out if it bothers someone that should not bother you.

Hey now, chill out if it bothers someone that should not bother you. These are friendly message boards where everyone helps each other, not where people ridicule one another.

These devices are not investments.
The resale value is a little more however if you keep it in near mint condition, which can be done. I had a pearl that I kept in mint condition for about 6 months before upgrading to a curve. I sold it on ebay for almost the amount I paid for the curve. Most people will go for the mint condition verses a scratched up one depending on the cost difference.

On that note I have a LCD protector on it at all times even on the battery door to prevent any scratches there. I also switch between a leather flip case and a hard aluminum case.

Default Sena Ultraslim Pouch

I used a Seidio rubberized hard case with for my 8310 with a BSE screen protector in my pocket for about 3 months, and I ended up with dust under my screen glass. I switched to the Sena Ultraslim Pouch with a BSE screen protector, still in my pocket. Much better - highly recommend it. Adds almost no bulk, and I think it will keep the dust out. It also has a magnet built-in, so the sleeper function works, too.

Good Luck.

Here you go , some pics so you get an idea (The arrows point what the skin covers . . . which is everything !!)

Plus it gives your device a very nice grip and a very very elegant shine !!

Default I'm using the ......

....Zagg kit.

First, it offers a little more grip. Almost like handling saran-wrap. However, the install requires patience and skill; you can screw up the placement of the panels easily. I damaged the screen panel and had to pay shipping to have another kit sent out. (And I have to return the old kit which I thought was odd.)

It's not really a perfect fit, so you have gaps between panels and the coverage in the corners, where you need the most protection is not complete.

Still it's not an expensive kit and it does offer more grip and some protection.

I am looking into the Seidio Innocase Rubberized. Is that the same thing as a silicone skin? Is it the soft flexible kind? or hard case? My wife purchased one (flexible) at the Verizon store. I am looking for something like that but thinner if possible.

Just got my BSE today from the mail, very happy with the product. I can key the screen and it leaves no scratches!!! 9/10 rating b/c the application had to be perfected after 3 tries.

I am getting a new Memory card, so I figure why not clean it up a little. I will clean the trackball, etc

And I figured why not get a new case.

To summarize what I got out of this thread, with regard to my questions coming in, or what I had in my mind

1. The Best Skins Ever and The Invisible Sheild are exactly the same depending on whether you want the warranty or not (I have had both) Do you agree

2. A question I truly have--I want to get a case like from Seidio, now I have had one of the above (in question 1) it seems like overkill tho. Is it? They say the skins are used on airplanes. I know it would prevent scratches, but if dropped, would it protect as well as say, the rubberized hard case (Seidio)

3. Lastly, I have always had the Hard Rubberized. I like to be able to see the curve tho--would I be sacrificing anything by going with the Hybrid? I was also getting the holster...they say "case" on the Seidio site, but I see none. Are there any cases that fit the hard cases. I bought a cheap one in the mall, but it was just that, cheap and fell apart

Thanks

1: true.

2:From my experience, the Blackberry silicone saved my old 8300 from several drops including running while forgeting to close my holster and having my curve launch into the air from the top of the stairs and land on concrete!!! Never tried Sedio yet.

3:Definitely a sacrifice when cleaning the curve. Constant putting on and taking off, also too bulky for me. But that's just my opinion though.

When I get my Curve I will protect it with a Springfield XD40 and or my AR-15 LOL!
I am a service contractor and I have found a case in one of my trade magazines from Otterbox. You can get it in yellow or black. Looks pretty rugged. Around $50

All,
Gotta keep the BB in a great a condition as possible...always

Anyways, the FoneGear holster pictured above is what I use...cheap, inexpensive and does the trick. Coupled with the awesome skins from decalgirl.com (presently using the Dante skin, which compliments my Red Curve), my BB stays in mint condition...
