Default DC # in contacts keeps disappearing

Please Login to Remove!

I'm not sure if this is a BB, Outlook, or BES issue but here is my problem. For some reason I have lost, on a couple of occasions, the DC # in my Nextel 7520 for 2 of my co-workers. I discover this when I attempt to call them on the radio and their DC # has vanished. If I am at my desk I can look up the number in Outlook and add it back on the 7520. It is still listed under Radio in my Outlook contact list. The really wierd thing is that when I reenter it on the BB and then save and then open it back up the DC # is there 2 or 3 times. It's like feast or famine. Ii am using Outlook 2003 and BES 4.0. Anyone else had this issue?

I have had the same problem on a couple of occassions. I don't know how, but they reappeared as mysteriously as they disappeared. It has not happened in a couple of months now, but it was annoying.

Reading this thread and an associated one seems to point to some type of server issue although I have never lost my entire contact list as some have. (Lost from the BB, not Exchange) Sounds like some sort of patch is needed although the problem is not significant, just annoying.

If you are roaming abroad, you can have big data charges because of the re-provisioning required.

So it is more than just annoying.
