Hi,

Can a BES operate ok if the AD and MAPI connections are on different DC's running different OS? NSPI connections are going to be set to 18000 for the 2008 DC's as currently have nearly 8,000 accounts and have put in resiliency for growth.

Is there a way to hard code a BES to always connect to the same DC?

Currently have 6 x 4.1.6 BES but soon to be upgrading DC's from 2003 to 2008 and trying to limit downtime/reboots.

With Exchange 2003/2007 the BES Servers obtain GC referrals from the Exchange Servers.
