When they are calling/texting etc it tells you who it is?

I dont know of anything that does that.
you could of course record a voice note of the name, and it may then be possible to make that the ringtone.

This is a veru much needed, not included feature of vlingo. I would like this too. As for now, I just use different ringtones for people that are important

Use a free audio software (audacity/goldwave/etc) and record your own voice saying the persons name, save it as mp3 and set it as a custom ringtone. Aside from that no other way that I know of
