Default Constant resets after upgrade ???

Please Login to Remove!

Since I have upgraded to 4.5.110 a few days ago, my 8310 resets constantly throughout the day on its own, during a call or just sitting there . Is there a fix for this ? I have upgraded my phone at least a dozen times without any problems what so ever... until now.

Backup the data on your media card, and reformat it in OS 4.5. Then add files back one folder at a time until you find the file on the media card that is causing the reboots. It's almost always the media card. Try removing the media card altogether first just to see what the device does.

Might sound silly, but how do and where do I go to back up the media card ? Never had a need to do this before.

Create a folder on your PC desktop, Connect your device to your PC, copy all of your files from the card to the folder. Format the card, then follow John Clark's directions.

When I am transferring each file back to the media card, will I be able to determine which file is corrupt if any ?

Just have to use some common sense here. Copy folders back one at a time and wait and see if the resets return. Try and narrow it down to which folder (pictures, videos, etc.) Then when you narrow it down to a folder you'll have to narrow it down to individual files. Certain picture files and/or video files have been known to cause resets. Once you figure out which ones are causing the resets you can remove them.
