Default vibrate + tone tweaks?

Please Login to Remove!

Hello all, I read a few semi-related threads but wasn't sure if there was a better way, if at all.
So I was playing around with the vibrate + tone with the pearl. Why is it that it can only vibrate or ring? I noticed when I set vibrate + tone and have the vibration to 2, it will actually vibrate twice then ring and only use the ringtone from then on. I would have expected it to firstly be like other phones and ring and vibrate at the same time OR when it does vibrate and ringtone, to use the specified vibrate frequence and ringtone at the same time. Any comments or am I offbase?
Thanks in advance.

A lot of people want that feature, including myself. There have been several threads on it. I suggest you do what I did and email the suggestion to [email address] .

I think Nokia are the only manufacturers who offer this. It's possible they have a patent

My old verizon lg phone rang and vibrated at the same time too so I don't think there is a patent on that feature.

I've had Moto, Samsung and Sanyo phones in the past and my Pearl is the first one I've had that won't.

go to Profiles icon and select Phone only. This permits the phone only to ring insteas of vibrate and ring. This worked for me yesterday.
