Default Customize Blackberry desktop to add an icon to easy access an Intranet application

Please Login to Remove!

Hi group. We would like to make available in the Blackberry desktop of our BES users an icon for easy access to one of our Intranet applications. It is an approval workflow and now a day users receive a link to this application by email and access it by clicking the link. But we would also want to give them an alternative way to easy access this Intranet application through an icon in the desktop.
We are using BES Server 4.1.3.16 Enterprise server for Exchange 2003.
What is the best\easy way to implement this.?
Hoping that you can help guide me in the right direction.
Regards.

RIM's "Blackberry Bulk Push" example does this (just Google for "BlackberryBulkPush" - I've used the C# version). There's also another option suggested here:

I have the source cod for this. You need to purchase a java signing cert so it will work though ($100) .. just edit in the JDE kit.

BlackBerry - BlackBerry | Wireless Handheld Devices, Software & Services from Research In Motion (RIM)

Good luck

Is the link different every email? Is there a "homepage" link?

"What is the best\easy way to implement this? "

Can you create or set up a "homepage"? Send that homepage link to the users.

Have them save it however, as a bookmark, as a saved message, etc.

Now every every time there's a different link just update it on the homepage. You can even automatically redirect them to the link from your homepage (grant it you must have a web server going).

So, knowing so much about your situation, that's my take on a hopefully "easy" implementation.
