Is anyone else having this trouble?
I have to pull the battery 2 to 3 times a day because it will act busy with the hourglass. It's like there’s something going on in the background and it won’t stop.
This is driving me crazy

If i can't resolve this can you tell me where i can find the old OS to reinstall

Yeah, beta software can be fairly buggy.

Check the top of this forum for the latest official 8830 OS.

I am using the version in my profile and its pretty stable.
What third party apps are you running. Maybe one of those items is intefering with 4.5

what version you installed ? I've been using 4.5.0.101 without issues

You may want to delete your aftermarket apps and add back one by one to see where the issue may be if you are NOT using .77 or .101

I'm also running 4.5.0.101. with previous versions of the 4.5 and have had a memory leak with it, when i was almost to no avail memory i would get a consent hour glass until a battery pull

I had a similar problem with .101 - freezing, having to pull the battery to restore any functionality.

When I initially installed that beta, I didn't do a wipe. What fixed the problem for me was to do the wiped and reinstall the beta. I wiped it twice because the beta installation hung a couple of times. You may wish to follow the memory optimization instructions found elsewhere on the forums to minimize the number of files being installed.

I've had clean running since the most recent wipe and reinstallation. When I get time, I plan to find the latest beta to see if that one restores video functionality.

desktop manager will not let me reinstall the same OS(4.5) that is already on the phone

I finally figured it out. If was Viingo that does not work well with 4.5
