I think if we tried to limit the trial like that we'd have a whole bunch of angry BlackBerry users chasing after us with pitchforks
This one is actually caused by an application permission limitation and it's covered in the troubleshooting section of our user manual too which you can download directly here.
Go in and make sure that all the application permissions (Connections, Interactions, and User Data) are all set to Allow and that should correct the problem.
Cheers,
Neil.

Good idea Stinsonddog, it's definitely going in (I guess if we want to call it "Pro" we better justify that name with a ton of functionality!)
Cheers,
Neil.

I am considering getting a separate program that schedules profiles but if this application will be altered to include that I would prefer saving some of my money for RICE or Gasoline! (sigh). If necessary hide the "advanced" functions that might confuse some people.

Neil, i think we need more options as far as snooze times go...
5, 10, 15 ??
5 is too short 10 is too long
how about 7 minutes, 8 minutes...?
why a few choices,
just let us choose anything from 1minute to 60 minutes, or at least a few more choices.
2, 5, 7, 8, 10, 12, 15, 18, 20, etc, or make all 60 available,,,,
thanks

This thread has been on snooze for 52 minutes. See variable snoozing is possible. Almost as good as variable boozing.

Edit: Just noticed in the original screenshots I put up, there is one other colored alarm in there as well in the "Snoozed Alarm List". If your alarm goes off and you hit snooze and then hit hide that's where you'll find this sleeping alarm if you did want to dismiss it before it goes off again (after the snooze period ends)

Great, thanks!
My eyes would like larger fonts or the ability to change the font size in the alarms on the alarm list, along with more contrast on the snooze and dismiss.

Snooze, booze, or lose. Take your pick. The music is reversable but time is not.

Are you serious.. you want to see snooze 8, 12, 18 minutes???
Options are nice but not if it makes it slower to set. If basic snooze times (like we have now) aren't easy to get to quickly... ie. if we have to scroll thru a huge list to select a basic snooze time like 10, 15, 30 minutes... it'll become much harder to use, not easier... especially with groggy eyes.
Perhaps if you're looking for a specific snooze time that isn't in the basic set of numbers presently provided, at the end of the list, there could be an option to select to enter a specific snooze time in minutes.

I tend to agree, Sheldon. The options for snooze are preset at 1, 2, 5, 10, 15, 30, 45, and 60 minutes. Those can be preset for any alarm and are quite adequate. The point a snooze option are to be able to immediately tell the device to snooze--not to have to wake up completely and be congizant enough to scroll though multiple options and numbers to set the snooze.

I'd like to know if this is possible as well. I can access my store as well as my SD card but when I look in store/home/user/ringtones... there's nothing there. I set the application permissions to allow with no effect.
I'm trained to wake up to Alarm Antelope and I'd like to be able to keep using that alarm sound. Weird, I know. Any help would be appreciated.

I also like Alarm Antalope, but understand it's not possible. However, I'm thinking that we should be able to use Desktop Manager's Media Manager to copy Alarm Antalope to the computer and then back to the personal ringtones on the BB (using a slightly different name perhaps). The duplication won't hurt anything as it doesn't take much space. However, it should become available to this program and our alarms.
>> UPDATE >>> I can't remember or figure out how to disable the automatic lock feature!! I thought I had already disabled it but it didn't work. Also, I figured BBLight might work... no. I know from Neil's message below that the work around I contemplated won't be necessary but I'd still like to know how to prevent it from going into lock.

Hi All,
Thanks again for the great feedback. With a future release we're going to be adding in profiles support so you will be able to pick the native alarm tones.
Our next release, v1.1, should be out before the end of this week. The aim of this release is going to be eliminating current pain-points such as:
- the overall size (we found a way to halve it);
- fixing up a couple of bugs that crept-in;
- making the buttons stand out more when selected;
- keyboard shortcuts for most actions; and
- automatic prompt for permissions on install (so we have no more 'no sound' problems)
We also came up with some cool ideas on how we can get around locked keyboards when the alarm goes off, however that's going to be pushed back to v1.2 likely. Similarly, variable snoozing will be pushed back to v1.2 (don't worry, shouldn't be too much of a wait after v1.1!)
As with all upgrades to this product, this will be free.
Thanks again for all your great feedback and we hope with your help we can really grow this application into something you'll love (and hopefully, tell other people about! )
Cheers,
Neil.

Someone needs to come up with a tone that is not ANOYING.
I understand its an alarm, but I hate waking up to anoying tones. Can you add maybe 1 or 2 MELLOW tones?
It would be appreciated

There are tons of free mellow ringtones out there. (Actually, there are many very good and varied ring tones on this site.) They will all work now (without waiting for 1.1 update).
You can also use any music you want as a ringtone. So, if something "out there" doesn't seem mellow enough for you, you can bring whatever music you want into your BB.

There are many more non-annoying tones in some of these sites:
Where Can I Download Ringtones? - BlackBerryFAQ
And some very annoying tones here:
Index of /ringtones
Good luck.
