That KB works with my OS 4.5.

You might offer slightly more hints or detail about that error, when you get it, what you have loaded, etc., and make the guessing game here a bit easier.

i'm sorry, i'm new here...i didn't even know how to find the O.S. version, which i see is 4.3...okay..and how do i get the 4.5 version?

You don't need OS 4.5 to use that keyboard. Version 4.3 is good.

I only commented that it worked on 4.5, also.

You need to provide detail of what you have done and what you need or no one will be able to help you very well.

uncaught exception layout requested during layout is the error message that i got and i thought it was because i do not have the correct version..

any ideas on how to correct that error message? i really need this keyboard...

WHEN do you get THAT error?

I don't understand why you are refusing to state the details of what you have done, when you get the error, etc. I've asked, I've tried. Maybe someone else can read your mind.

I get that error at the end when i'm trying to pair the keyboard with the blackberry...it says it finds it, but that when is the error that comes up....i'm sorry i'm not very good at communicating...maybe that's why i'm a petsitter...
