Default Dumb question?

Ok, so with TMO youre asked to select a 'Web and walk' plan AS WELL AS the BIS data plan
Just wondering if using the browser might consume some of the data allowance?

In the uk you usually need the flext + web n walk package, then you also pay £4.99 for email.

The web n walk is unlimited with a 1GB cap.

Yes, using the browser uses data.

Im on Flext 25 + BIS (+£10) which is the 'capped at 50mb' one
Now im only a personal user, there is no WAY on this earth that i'd use 50mb in a month, so im wondering if i could use some of that data allowance for web browsing?

I have T-Mobile UK BlackBerry on Flext 20 + WnW + BIS & Enterprise. I also have an Orange BlackBerry with their new unlimited BIS plan & Enterprise. I used to pay for a small Orange data plan on top of the Orange BlackBerry plan but, 2 months ago, when I upgraded to the new Orange unlimited BIS plan I was told that they couldn't keep the data plan on the account as their system wouldn't allow for both. Since then all of my browsing and IM has been covered by the BlackBerry BIS plan. This got me thinking about T-Mobile UK and whether I can scrub the Web n Walk from it.

My T-Mobile UK BlackBerry has a WnW browser, a BES browser and a T-Zones WAP browser. If I use the first two browsers, to visit What Is My IP Address? - IP Address Lookup, Info, Speed Test, and more I get a RIM BlackBerry IP address returned. What do you get? If you get a BlackBerry IP this indicates to me that the software is using the BlackBerry data allowance and not WnW. With T-Zones I get a T-Mobile UK IP. Perhaps WnW is for that only? I speculate that WnW data may also be used if you put an access point into the TCP/IP settings under options. However I've no need to do this as don't use my BlackBerry to tether a laptop.

Might be worth asking T-Mobile business support on 0845 412 2222 or dropping WnW for a month to see what happens. ;)
