Default MTN South Africa

The connection of a Blackberry in South Africa has always been unpredictable, however. Since MTN came with it's brilliant idea to charge users for their downloads things have taken a turn for the worse. Their excuse for charging users is because apparently excessive downloading is the reason for slow and unpredictable BIS. I would be inclined to believe that, but turns out that the BIS service here in South Africa is now in an even worse condition than it was before. My connection will randomly turn off, webpages will refuse to load etc. So all I'd like to say to MTN is. Get your act together, continuing to provide rubbish services and expecting customers to continue to pay full price is ridiculous.

All carriers in South Africa are unreliable at this point, and a lot of it is due to 3G upgrades.

Mtn is rubbish. When I phoned them about the problem the first two people said that they were working on towers but then the third dumb ass said that they changed the download speed. I think this is wrong to do without communicating anything to their costumers first. MTN You suck!!!!!!!!

Vodacom is also bad (though not as bad as MTN), and the 8520 was the worst BB you could have bought. You will not be happy.
