multi-select email with touch screen.

I have 4 emails configured for my BB. lots of stuff comes in, and I delete most of it..

with my Bold, I held down the left shift and could mark a number of messages to be deleted. right button, select delete.. gone..

I can do the same with the slider open on the Torch.

how do I do that with the touch screen, slider closed?

two fingers, top & bottom of list on the current page,
but you can't go beyond the current page (I don't think, least I haven't been able to).

I dont think you can do this with one key combo. I even tried this at the ATT store and could not find the option or workaround.

YEs you can go further than a page...
select the first mail with a finger, then the second with another finger... now it selected, you can scroll pages and continue selecting with just a touch.
