Default Help, dropped my bold.. now nothing

Please Login to Remove!

I was getting my bold out of my belt clip, and it slipped and fell on the floor.
back came off and battery popped out.. no biggie this happened on my curve a couple times.

but.. there is nothing.. when I put the battery back in I expected the red power on light.. nope.. nothing when plugged into wall charger either..

I saw that others had a problem with a memory card, so I removed mine.. no change..

I have it on the charger now, but I am not optimistic..

anyone else have any other debugging tips?

thanks

Sam

Wirelessly posted (White and Nerdy)

If u don't get power or lights, something is loose inside ur device. Go for a warrenty/insurence exchange if u got it. If u don't, check the top of the forum for disassembling photos and do some surgery

thanks.. opened it up and really see nothing.. all the pins line up, nothing appears loose, don't see any damage (looking thru magnifying glass)..

haven't checked the battery itself..

will the phone power up with only external power (ie if battery is removed)?

Sam
