I am ashamed to have to ask this, but I cannot seem to locate the source of this icon shown in the attached image. Device is a 8310, device software is 4.5.0.110. I am assuming that it is related to either a webmail account or some type of update, but I have been unable to determine.

It is a browser push message. Go into Messages, Press the Menu Key and select View Folder. Check the Browser Push and WAP folders. You should see it there.
