The lesson here is that you learned not to trust support reps. We learned that long ago. Support reps aren't paid to know the latest details about an upcoming product/software update/etc. They are paid to know how to read a script and "troubleshoot" issues for customers (based off the concept that all customers are created equal, and therefore must be stupid).

aiharkness: (at the risk of possibly de-railing this conversation, I'm going to respond to you.) Don't get me wrong, my feelings weren't hurt. I have much thicker skin than that. I just thought this forum was suppose to be about the RIM products and not about.... well, lets just say "lord of the fly's".

I think the community would be better served if we focused on RIM products and it's features.

If you decide to spend more time on the forum, you will learn who to talk with and ask advice from, and who to ignore. Just like in real life.
