Hi,
Has anyone tried downloading software version 4.1 from Blackberry for the T-Mobile 7105t? I want to use the bluetooth sync and I am sick of waiting for T-Mobile to release the software. Would this "break" the blackberry or void my warranty? Thanks a lot.

Yep

I successfully installed the Hong Kong 4.1 on my 7105t. Big improvement in features, functionality and preformance. There are a number of threads regarding this, check the BB software forum to hitchhike on the trials and tribulations of those who went before.

Thanks, will install it now. Stupid question, but I looked all over the Blackberry website but couldnt find the version 4.1 for the 7105t, or any oter 7100 series for that matter. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Is the appropriate selection for the 7105t the 7100g upgrade? I followed the link to the Hong Kong download and that appears to be the closest selection.

I must be doing something wrong.

I DL the BlackBerry Handheld Software v4.1.0.210 (Multilanguage)
from the hong kong site. I installed it but it only brings up the regular
Desktop stuff. Exactly how does one UPGRADE the habdheld to 4.1.0.210?
Right now I am running 4.0.2.

Well, I will agree with one of your statements. You are a newbie.

You gave a link for Nextel. So none of that code will work with T-Mobile.
Desktop Manager is available from any carrier website and from the RIM web site.

T-Mobile has not release handheld OS v4.1 for any devices yet.

Even with 4.1 you can not transfer songs or MP3s to your BlackBerry wireless e-mail device.
