I _so_ don't believe that but I haven't worked with O2 for years so could be true I suppose (BertieBassett is the man to answer that one...). I can see you having old SIM cards which are no good with modern BBs but they've gotta be pretty old for that to be true, IIRC think.

Glad you are getting sorted though mate.

I seem to remember them being replaced when the BBerries were bought c.6mo ago, because the old ones were too old to support BIS...

O2 have had a couple of rethinks today.

On Friday, it was the SIM needed changing, no account difference, no difference in tariff.
Then, it wasn't the SIM, it was just a flag on the account needed tickling.
Now, they've decided that the SIMs are fine, but there IS a difference in the tariff. £28/mo/user for BES, as opposed to the fiver or so for BIS.

There you go, knew it had to be the dearer one . Honestly if it's anything like Voda, you can just get the wrong guy on the phone on the wrong day and it all goes to pot.

Guess I should have picked option 2 then :->.

It must be one of those rites, you don't get to be a besadmin unless you have wasted at least 2 hours on the phone to the carrier telling them how it's the data plan that's wrong.

That and finding your MAPI32.dll has mysteriously been changed while you were away.

2 hours is easy, some poor people waste days because of it.

Me after my second BB EA.

D'you know, it just occurred that I didn't update you fine people on this. My apologies.

Once O2 extracted their digits, it was just... smooth. Worked perfectly.

Oh look, a carrier screwed up the provisioning again. If only I got a new BB for each time that happened . Glad you are sorted mate.

Get t-support! Then you can login to a shiny RIM website, check provisioning and KNOW that you are right. And the carrier is wrong. Again.

I love the concept (and I do covert your access to that site Jadey!) but just aren't convinced it's worth 40 squids per user . Well, the ppl with the money aren't convinvced, put it that way.

LOL, seeing as it is you, if ever you need a check, PM me the PIN & IMEI. Can't say fairer than that. UK solidarity, etc, I've got your back (when it comes to EA provisioning checks, anyhow).
