Hey, (first post here)
I'm wondering if there's anyway I can have a personal calendar on my 9780 Bold that is connected to my company's BES?
... or is there a seperate application I can use?

I started putting stuff in it but everything appeared on my Outlook calendar at work that other people might have access to?

Is your device connected to the company BES for you work email?

To get a 'personal' calendar that does not sync, you'd have to set up a BIS email account (i.e., Gmail). The BIS account information will not sync with your work account at all.

Thanks. I didn't even know GM had a calendar!

Setting it up now. I guess I need cell service to access it? I'd rather have a calendar just on the phone for when we're not in the coverage area, camping, fishing etc.

(BTW, is this a really s-l-o-w site or is it just me?)

Yes, you either cell service or WiFi connectivity.

So as far as you know there's no calendar "apps' I could use?

Not to my knowledge, but I've never looked. There may be a 3rd party app in App World somewhere.
