Quick question for you guys, does your Torch actually say "Torch" in between the camera and the flash? All promo material and review pics I ever saw seemed to have the words embedded or printed on the plastic. Mine just says 5.0 MP (camera specs). I thought this was a bit odd. Seems Rogers also didn't brand the device anywhere (I noticed AT&T branded the bezel). Seems like the most prime real estate that NO ONE bothered to brand (not sure why not) is the back of the top piece of the slider. Seems like a sexy spot for a RIM/Torch logo or carrier branding. Anyway - this is probably a pretty OCD post, but just curious.
Mine says "TORCH" between the camera and flash on the back.
Silk screened "AT&T" in white on the front frame bottom.
Thx for the quick reply. Odd. Well - looks like ATT device is as per the review pictures. My Rogers device certainly is diff. Wonder if its like a baseball error card. Why on earth would that design element not carry over from one carrier to the other. You can't tell me Rogers expressed a preference to remove the words Torch from the plastic plate on the back. Weird.
Mine just shows the camera specs as well (from Rogers). To be honest I like it. I'm okay with less branding especially when everywhere you look nowadays people are using every square inch of usable space to market. Posted via BlackBerryForums.com Mobile
Also using Rogers. Same with other Rogers users upstairs.
"5.0MP auto focus" written between camera and flash.
No Rogers logo and/or word anywhere on the device.
Yep. I kind of like it too.
Curious if Bell devices be the same??
