Default Bold 9700 add sms message recipients

Just cant see how to do this.......having created an sms message, I decide I want to add a recipient.
I can see how to view recipients and I can add another one. The problem is that after adding another name the next stage gives me a new, blank message. The original is there in the message list as unsent but my extra recipient has only been added to the second message created when I added him??

Must be an answer.....

Bring up the menu and choose "Show Recipients" the Select SMS Contact box comes up and you can add people - is this what you are looking for?

Try what the OP said, you will see that the message blanks out.

Anyone else have any insight on this? I find this extremely annoying. Unless I'm missing something, you have to nail your recipients list down first, then compose your message. Otherwise if you want to add a recipient mid-message, you'll have to close the "blank" SMS screen that has your full recipients list, open up the one you had been working on, copy that text, and then paste it into the new SMS thread that has all of your desired recipients. On OS's prior to 5.0, you could add to your heart's content, all in the same message screen.

Looks like it does the same thing when you go to remove a recipient. At least it's consistent...

Is this "just the way it is"?

Looks like it tracks messages by the complete recipient list. Changing the list appears to change it's historical perspective.
