Default Dead 9300

Please Login to Remove!

Hello! I'm new on this forum. I have a "little" hardware problem with a BB 9300. I have a little component that is crashed in two pieces, and without that the phone wont start. It's the circled one in the picture.
My questions are: what is that(code or something)? it is the right position(i tried to solder it)?
after i put it back, in that position, when i insert the battery, the red led lights for a few seconds, and after a couple of seconds starts again. BB software says that the phone have a dead battery, or it is restarting when i try to connect.

Can someone tell me if I can find that piece to change it? What is that's part name, code or something? i've only readed: 2600032

Time to buy a new one. If you want to try to fix it, you should take it to an authorized service center to see e if it can be repaired. Doesn't look to me like that is possible.

How did it get damaged?

i don't know how it happened. Someone gave it to me, it was completely dead. The metal shield which you see that i have cut in that picture, was completely bent, and trough a hole i was seeing that piece loosed. I've cut that shield, i soldered(but for sure that wasn't a good soldering) that piece. And now how i said, when i connect the phone without the battery, the screen goes up, and shows "no battery" picture. But when i insert the battery, the red led glows for a few seconds, and stops... starts again... and so on even it is connected to PC or not(i don't have the charger).

I would say it is a goner. When things get broken on motherboards, there isn't much you can do, other than replace the board or the device.
