Default BB 8320 i need help about my battery :'(

Please Login to Remove!

i just bought a BB 8320 two months ago, its unlocked. my battery drains way too fast. like i just charged it then after about 15mins it goes 95% or 90% on the battery status :(. i tried to not touch it for a whole day and it didnt even lasted for 24hours (it was fully charged). i thought it was the battery but i bought a new battery and the same thing goes with the new battery.

i dimmed the backlight, i stop the blinking of the green light, i put it on no vibrate mode, no applications running on background, i even deleted my yahoo! messenger and facebook. same thing goes with it. the battery drains too fast :( idk what to do now. can anyone pls help me out?

Bluetooth and wifi off?

What do you have left running in the background? If you don't mind listing the apps (even if they seem obvious)...

Way back on OS 4.2, the 8320 seemed to have a problem with non-paired bluetooth devices running nearby. In my case, my Playstation 3 used to cause my battery to drain faster than normal. If I turned the PS3 completely off, my battery would last longer. Although I no longer leave bluetooth running on my phone so I'm not sure if later versions of the OS have a similar problem.

However, it sounds pretty fast for even that problem. Maybe try an OS change if you can't find other reasons. Also, some people have had problems with some "new" batteries depending on the source. If you bought an extremely low priced battery online, it might not be all that new.

It's possible you may need to get a new battery.
