Please Login to Remove!

You may also have to go into Options > Advanced Options > Service Book and delete Facebook [CICAL].

It worked partially, because Facebook calendar is now device default calendar

Follow Zocster's original instructions: Options > Advance Options > Default Services and change your defaults to what you want. Then with the device on, pull the battery out for 30 seconds and replace it.

I think the service book will be resent every time you reset the device. I don't think there's anything you can do about it.

I'm thinking it's part of the service book, and it installs it's own service in the security options, so I don't believe we can get rid of that calendar ourselves.

You can always delete the CICAL FaceBook entry in the service books but it will get pushed back down to your device at some point :(

I just turned the feature off, but then again I never knew FB had a calendar :(

Apparently it's tied to your event calendar on FB. If you create or accept an event invite it adds it to your BB.

Sounds like the FB calendar is your default. Go into Options > Advance Options > Default Services and check.

I solved this by uninstalling FB. Worked like a charm.

It's now Service Book, so you won't be able to get rid of it. Unless you do away with the FB app itself.

Reinstalled FB on my Bold and despite geting notifications I cannot reply immediattely to them.. For example a get notification that someone commented on my status but cannot reply directly and comment myself too. I think that I could before...

Any suggestions? Running 1.5.0.32

Wirelessly posted (8300)

How did you reinstall? Did you just download on top of?

Generally in the case of facebook I would remove (removing via DM is preferred) and restart(pull battery). And then reinstall.

As a side note, I am beginning to think the facebook db may corrupt itself over time, especially when it comes time to back up. Has anyone else, figured away around backup fails (I don't have ny mobile installed).

I'm using that version too and mine works pretty good. Maybe you should uninstall it then re-install it back. That might do the trick.

I had my bold replaced and installed it from the beginning...

If I go in the app, I can reply to comment, but if i go to messages and open the FB message it only has a link to the webpage while it should have a reply forum below..
