Not really (although all 8330m's are MEID). Their is a small batch of 8330's that have an MEID and are not the 8330m. To be 100% sure what you have you need to go to options / about it will tell you if you have an 8330 or 8330m
From my own research the "m" really means true embedded MMS. MMS is also carrier dependent for the 8330 and the 8330m
On the 8330 MMS has to be processed through server and then sent to your phone. Most of the time is will be a link to photo or video. But it could also have the photo or video (resized) in the MMS itself.
On the 8330m MMS can be set directly to the phone with no server processing. So its "True MMS" and is embedded.
So the only real way to tell an 8330 from an 8330m is in the about screen only.
