Default Set up BES 2.1 at home and push it to Carrier???

Please Login to Remove!

Hi - I have a legit copy of BES 2.1/5 licenses and Win 2000 and Exchange 2000. I have a brand new BB 5810. I am an MCSE (SysAdmin) with 10 yrs Windows experience and 4 years Exchange experience. I want to run my BES 2.1 server software on my Exchange 2000 system and push it to a carreir that will send it to my Blackberry 5810. Is this possible? What carrier do I use? I'm new at using a Blackberry and do not have a carrier yet. Any suggestions? Can I push other services too?
Thanks - - Earl - - [email address]

BES 2.1 is a very old version of BES....

Either way, this is a "BES Admin Corner" question. I am moving this thread.

The carrier isn't the problem here. As long as you have service with your BB you should be fine. Then all you need is a high-speed connection from your ISP, which I assume you already have if you are running exchange from home.

So in short, carrier doesn't matter, so long as your ISP is ok with it.
