I have some users who have full GPRS signal and still not able to receive emails. The BES logs have the following errors.

[40237] (02/17 09:34:57):{0xB2C} OTAFM (user Gautam Patel/IB/Lazard): folder reference is not found
[30300] (02/17 09:34:57):{0xB2C} ScanForNewMail (user Gautam Patel/IB/Lazard): incoming message 6C836 was not found in any of the 1 redirected folders

The user does not have any rules or filters on Lotus Notes or desktop manager.
I talked with T-support and their analysis of the problem was that the folder redirect for $inbox in the blackberry user profiles database should be set to 1 instead of 0. Almost all the users on my BES have that value set to 0 and they are working fine.
The final solution that T-support gave was to remove/add the user back to BES. This is not a solution for us because this crashes the BES.
Does anybody know how to resolve this issue without remove/add user to BES?

We've been running into this problem lately (BES v2.2.2). We were told by RIM that the state database was corrupt and that we had to delete the users from the BES, manually delete all of their files, including the state database, then re-add them. This has worked in every case. Supposedly fixed in v2.2.4. I don't know that it's possible to repair a corrupt state database.

I read somewhere (can't remember where) that you can replace design of the state database to correct errors.
