Default 7100i sync thru USB cable to lotus?

Please Login to Remove!

My 7100i and I just introduced ourselves. I'm using my 7100 without the wireless sync/web/email enabled. My goal is to sync the address book, calendar, email and to-dos. As for my lotus... I am connected to a company network, as I would guess alot of Lotus users are.

I read that I could download the most recent Blackberry device manager from the blackberry website and this would allow me to sync with Lotus thru my USB cable, except for (possibly) email.

Does anyone know if this software will work for what I need, or any other software downloads that may do the trick?

I got the Blackberry software downloaded, but can't get the program to open when I click on it. I assume this is a computer/firewall problem and not a blackberry problem, any help getting the ball rolling with this would be appreciated.

Which version of Desktop Manager did you download? You should download 4.1 or later from BlackBerry. After you download go through installation make sure you select "Blackberry Enterprise Server"(BES) and take default on the rest. If Desktop Manager does not start up, restart your computer and try it again. Are you on your companys BES server? If not you should see about being added...that way you can sync email as well. Next go to Lotus Notes open your inbox.....click Actions -->Sychronize Address book, this will sync your Blackberry with your address book.

Just be careful; From reading other posts Nextel will see you are using a BB and will add the plan to your account.
