Hi Everyone,

We currently have a BES 5.0 server and recently installed a new BES 10.1 server alongside it using the 60 day trial keys. However, due to some issues internally, we will not be able to migrate all our BES 5 users onto the BES 10.1 server within the 60 day trial period.

Does anyone know if we can either extend the trial once it expires, or simply request a new trial licence key to give us a further 60 days?

Otherwise we'll need to move the existing BES10.1 users back to BES 5.0 until we can find the time to migrate everyone within the 60 day period.

convert you BES 5 CALs to BES 10, you can use them in both places until next year

So if we trade up our existing BES 5.0 CALs and add them to the BES 10.1 server, will the BES 10.1 server continue to work beyond the 60 day trial period? Do I need to do anything with the SRP and Licence/Authentication keys?

you remove the trial CALs and add in the real ones.

only the CALs expire on BES 10, the SRP does knot.
