I've bought a new unused Curve from a work colleague it was an unwanted gift and had it unlocked on Thursday. I installed my daughters Virgin card and then unfortunately realised I had to have a BB bolt on.
Just bought an o2 with bolt on and the BB is displaying the invalid sim message.
The o2 card works in my daughters LG and the Virgin sim works in the BB.
Can the shop not unlocked it for o2? I've tried the options ,advanced mEPD and network is saying disabled.
You need an unlock code to unlock it, so you'll need to pay. Your sim lock being disabled has to do with the sim PIN, nothing to do with the phone problems
I appreciate I have to pay to unlock the BB but I've already paid £15 on Thursday at the local phone shop to get it unlocked.
Being bank holiday weekend I'm sure the shop will be closed but I know a place which will be open over the weekend but it's another £15.
It appeared to be unlocked correctly as the Virgin sim worked and the problem arose today after purchasing the o2 with the BB bolt on.
Could the unlock have been reversed when I took the battery out to fit the o2 Blackberry sim?
